From 1984 to 1986, using a large format camera and handheld flash, I exclusively documented the daily habitation in the Worcester Galleria, a mall that came into existence in the 1970s located in the center of downtown Worcester, Massachusetts and considered to be one of the finest of malls in New England. By the time I was concluding this project in 1986, this facility was alarmingly in decline. By 2006 it closed, and a few years later, the building was demolished.
